My good friend Chris Ross has been fishing in Kenya for the best part of twenty years. During that time he has always had an ambition to catch a billfish on the fly. Well, this year he has finally succeeded with the fish in this picture. The reel used was one from the old Penn International Saltwater Range. Chris commented that if not for a smooth drag his tippet would have popped on several occasions as the fish ran long and hard. Well done mate!
